Delete from within the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside Launchpad:

1. Open Launchpad and sign in.
2. Tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the home screen.
3. In the menu, tap Delete Account (shown in red).
4. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.

Deletion is immediate. Your account and personal data are removed from our active database right away.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email us from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion for you.

Email support to delete

Email requests are processed within 30 days, and typically within a few business days.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed from our active systems:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your candidacy snapshot (academics, test scores, work history, extracurriculars, goals)
• Your school list, probabilities, and list grade
• Your Stacy AI chat history and saved threads
• Your saved articles, favorites, and audio progress
• Your notification preferences and push-notification tokens
• Your feedback on AI responses

What we retain, and for how long

After deletion, a limited set of data is retained only where required:

• Encrypted backups: up to 30 days for disaster recovery, after which deleted records are purged from backups as part of our standard rotation.
• Anonymized product analytics: aggregated usage events that do not identify you personally may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
• Legal and financial records: where required by law (for example, transaction records), we retain the minimum information necessary for the statutory retention period.

Delete specific data instead

Launchpad does not offer partial self-service data deletion. If you want to remove only specific data (for example, clear your chat history or remove your snapshot) without deleting your account, email support@stacyblackman.com with the details and we will help.
