Consortium Membership Essay 3: What will you do post-MBA with respect to community service and leadership involvement to demonstrate your continued commitment to The Consortium's missions of diversity and inclusion? (1,000 characters) Post-MBA, I will serve as a board member for nonprofits that serve Black and Latinx communities through my passion: soccer. Harnessing my MBA studies and my professional experience, I’ll share best practices to drive greater impact while connecting these organizations to my network, particularly to Consortium business leaders, increasing their capacity to engage and develop youth.

Professionally, I’ll promote social responsibility and diverse leadership in the Widget field, my post-MBS industry. Success is defined not only by profit, but by how corporate decisions affect the community we work in. Understanding the value of lived experience and the wealth of underdeveloped talent, I’ll make sure that local employees receive opportunities to lead.

In both my professional and community roles, I look forward to connecting organizations that support educational opportunity with the Consortium, and to sharing the Consortium with the young people I will mentor as they pursue their careers.
